Many people ask, how does the Airpower R2 differ from the Airpower R1? They look like the same shoes! Essentially they are the same boot, with a few small differences. The Airpower R2 offers a smooth leather polishable toe since some departments make that a requirement in their station boots. When a polishable toe is needed, HAIX® Airpower R2 is just the boot for you. We also added a few areas of reflective material on the back heel and along the zipper, for better visibility while on emergency calls at night.

Upper Material
The Haix Airpower XR200 is a pair of oil resistant and waterproof work boots, made of nubuck leather that gives it stability and allows the foot to breath. The composite protective toe cap helps prevent foot injuries, especially to the toes.
The para-aramid cut protection system helps keep your feet safe while working with the chainsaw.
Insole, Lining and Footbed
The Secura Liner keeps feet cool with its breathable material made of GORE-TEX, and ensures that your inner boot lining will not wrinkle, pull up, or pull loose from your boot. The inner liner is waterproof and useful for keeping feet at a balanced temperature. The Climate System ensures a continuous air circulation in the footwear. With every step, fresh air will be pumped into the boots and heat will be pressed out of boots through the vent holes at the top of the boot.

HOW IT FITS
The 650 last offers a sleek, slender profile with a more narrow fit. Boots on this last tend to fit those with a more narrow foot better than those with a wider foot. This ensures a snug fit for terrain and activities that demand support and stability. If you do have a wider foot, we recommend ordering an "EE" (wide) in this style. Please note this last fits slightly long and we recommend sizing down a half size for best fit.
